The liquid facelift is a very popular procedure and can provide long lasting result that can have you looking 10 years younger in one visit. Does the Procedure Hurt?

At San Diego Laser Spa we use anesthetic which minimizes discomfort to simple pinching feeling. The procedure lasts about an hour and the results are immediate. Many patients have the procedure done at lunch hour and head right back to their daily activities.

How Long Do Results Last?

*Most of our patients are seeing results that last 6-12 months, we recommend a couple visits per year to maintain youthful appearance.

How Does IPL Foto Facial Work?

IPL Foto Facial is a technology that utilizes broad spectrum light that is transmitted through a small, smooth, transparent hand piece which is moved gently over the skin. The light will penetrate the tissue and is absorbed by the blood when treating vascular lesions or the melanin when treating pigmented lesions and damages them. Your own body system will take it from there removing the injured tissue giving the skin a more even and youthful appearance.

-IPL FotoFacial

Laser Skin Resurfacing- $800 per tx

At San Diego Laser Spa we utilze the Erbium Laser for laser skin resurfacing. The Erbium Laser is ideal for patients requiring a more aggressive treatment. This is our most versatile laser. Procedures can be performed under sedation to get marked improvement but usually require a week of healing following your laser skin resurfacing treatment.

*For those who don’t have the time to heal we offer Fraxel and Pixel. These techniques leave non-treated skin islands between areas treated by the laser. This results in less pain and quicker healing (usually 1-3 days). Multiple sessions may be required to get optimal results.

The Treatment Process:

*The area that will be treated and cleansed of any make-up, dirt, or debris so that optimal results may be obtained. A topical anesthetic will then be applied to decrease any perceived pain or discomfort. Then the doctor or registered nurse will take the erbium laser fractional skin resurfacing hand piece and gently guide it over the area being treated. Treatments usually take 10-20 minutes long depending on the size of area being treated. Although the lite laser facial usually gets a good result from one treatment, multiple treatments may be required. Results may vary on different patients the treatment provider will be able to provide more information on what is to be expected and how many treatments are recommended to achieve the desired results.

The Healing Process:

Post treatment, some redness may linger, warmth, or feeling of tightness in the treated area. All should be expected and should fade within a few hours. Tylenol may be taken if needed for pain. A cool wet washcloth can also be used for comfort. Continuous application of ointment should be done to keep face moist. Do not wash treated area until day three post treatment with only mild cleanser and water. Any peeling of the skin is normal. If any small blisters appear use antibiotic ointment or Neosporin on blisters only. By day four post treatment normal facial skin care may be resumed. Always use sun block that is SPF 30 or higher after laser treatments.

-Laser Skin Resurfacing

*Derma Fillers are the latest trend in facial rejuvenation, this is a non-surgical procedure that can be performed in 30-60 minutes. You may of heard of the “liquid facelift” being discussed on TV, facial fillers can make you look a decade younger when performed by an experienced physician. At San Diego Laser Spa we offer a number of different injectable fillers including Juvederm, Restylane and Voluma.

$800/Per Syringe- Voluma™

The most recent advancement in facial fillers is by Juvederm Voluma which is a brand new FDA approved injectable gel that has long lasting results for adding lift and volume. This treatment is typically used in the cheek areas and filling hollow areas.

How does VOLUMA™ work?

VOLUMA™ is made from hyaluronic acid (HA), the same soft, natural gel-like substance found in the popular wrinkle filler Juvéderm XC™. Because the particles of HA are structured a little differently, VOLUMA™ can be injected more deeply underneath the skin and over a larger area. These unique properties make VOLUMA™ excellent for adding very natural looking shape and volume to the entire cheek contour.

$550/ Per Syringe- Juvederm™

is an approved injectable by the FDA for volumizing and filling deep folds and wrinkles most often found around the mouth area called the nasolabial folds and the smile lines between the nose and the corners of your mouth. Juvederm™ can also be used for lip volumizing.

$450 Per Syringe- Restylane®

is most commonly used to diminish moderate to severe facial wrinkles. It is typically used around the nose and mouth and can also be used in the lips. Many of our patients we have used Restylane® on for filling in acne scars. Restylane® results typically last 6 to 9 months.

-Injectables

Botox®-$10/Per Unit

*Botox is by far the most common cosmetic procedure performed in the United States because of it’s outstanding results for treatment of wrinkles in the forehead, crow’s feet around the eyes, the area between the eyes known as the 11 and other areas of the face. Botox Cosmetic® is injected in the areas of concern and the compound will weaken muscles that cause facial expressions. After a few days following your Botox injections the pull of the muscles weaken and you will notice the skin begin to flatten.
