Sclerotherapy Vein Removal- $500-$800 Per Session

*At San Diego Laser Spa we specialize in vericose vein removal and spider vein treatment.  Sclerotherapy is the latest in the treatment in vein removal by injecting the veins with a chemical called sclerosing which causes the vein to shrink.  The procedure only takes about an hour and the results are permanent.  Most patients will need 1 to 5 treatments to reach optimal results.  Following the treatment you will need to wear compression socks to keep your veins shut tight so your body will be able to reabsorb the vein vessels.

Sclerotherapy is by far one of the best options for treatment of spider veins, the results are quick and permanent.

Kybella is the first FDA approved injectable treatment that can eliminate the double chin and fat in the chin area.  At San Diego Laser Spa we always strive to offer the most advanced techniques and treatments available.  This non-invasive treatment for double chins is amazing, in the past the only way to remove this fatty pocket area was with liposuction.  With Kybella you can now remove this fatty area with just a series of injections and watch the fat melt away!

What is Kybella?

Kybella is a formulation of deoxycholic acid, this is the first injection approved by the FDA for breaking down fat cells and is approved  for use under the chin.  Fat cells under the chin will be targeted by Dr. Sarosy and the deoxycholic acid will be injected under the chin area.  The patented formula will then destroy fat cells eliminating the double chin and the destroyed cells will naturally passed through the body.  The product is safe and has been heavily tested by the FDA through 19 clinical trials and 2600 patients.

Does the Treatment Hurt?

*Your Kybella treatment will take only 5-10 minutes and it doesn’t hurt.  A series of injections are placed around the fatty pocket area under the chin.  You will only feel pressure and slight pinching.  You may experience some slight swelling and bruising but will not interfere with your daily routine.  Most patients go right back to work after procedure.

At San Diego Laser Spa we offer the most affordable Juvederm® specials in town.   Juvederm® starts at $550/per syringe, the results are immediate and long lasting typically 6 months to a year.  Typically you will need only one syringe of Juvederm® for a procedure like lip enhancement or the labial folds around the mouth.

Do The Juvederm® Injections Hurt?

Most patients say the procedure is very comfortable and only stings a little.  A topical anesthetic is used so the procedure is comfortable, you will only feel a little pinch.

*We view obesity as a chronic disease that requires medical treatment. Our program has a high success rate. It starts with a thorough medical examination, inclusive physical exam, and lifestyle survey.

After the interview a custom weight loss plan is initiated.

Appetite suppressants are generally prescribed as well as injections of vitamin B12 /B6, to increase metabolism. A diet based on individual needs is provided as well. The program is affordable starting at 25.00 per week.

For those patients requiring help with loose skin after successful weight loss we offer surgical correction.

*At San Diego Laser Spa we offer the latest in laser skin resurfacing technology, at our center we use the Erbium Laser. The Eribium Laser is ideal for skin resurfacing and for patients requiring a more aggressive treatment. Most laser skin procedures are performed under sedation so that you are comfortable and the technician can be aggressive with procedure. Healing usually takes about a week following initial skin resurfacing procedure.

For those patients who don’t have a week to heal heal we offer Fraxel and Pixel. These techniques leave non-treated skin islands between areas treated by the laser. This results in less pain and quicker healing (usually 1-3 days). Multiple sessions may be required to get optimal results.

The Treatment Process:

Prior to the laser touching the skin the area that is being treated will be cleaned of any dirt and makeup so that optimal results can be achieved. A topical anesthetic will then be applied to decrease any perceived pain or discomfort. The doctor or registered nurse will then gently apply the laser hand piece and guide it over the area to be treated. Treatments usually take 10-20 minutes long depending on the size of area being treated. Although the lite laser facial usually gets a good result from one treatment, multiple treatments may be required. Results may vary on different patients the treatment provider will be able to provide more information on what is to be expected and how many treatments are recommended to achieve the desired results.

The Healing Process:

Post treatment, some redness may linger, warmth, or feeling of tightness in the treated area. All should be expected and should fade within a few hours. Tylenol may be taken if needed for pain. A cool wet washcloth can also be used for comfort. Continuous application of ointment should be done to keep face moist. Do not wash treated area until day three post treatment with only mild cleanser and water. Any peeling of the skin is normal. If any small blisters appear use antibiotic ointment or Neosporin on blisters only. By day four post treatment normal facial skin care may be resumed. Always use sun block that is SPF 30 or higher after laser treatments.
